Debra Lynn Monroe
Debra Lynn Monroe, of Galveston, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015 in Cypress, Texas way to soon at the young age of 34. She was born on August 7, 1981 in Galveston, Texas to Joanne Clay Watkins and William Werner. Debra loved her family and friends most of all and it showed. She loved her 3 babies the most in life, Jules age 12, C.J. Age 10, and Jordan Katlyn Monroe (09/20/07-03/27/08) who she joined in Heaven along with her Mom, brother Tim Monroe, grandfather Richard Monroe Sr. ,grandfather Ernest Clay, and her best friend Jillian Balestrino. She was the #1 mom ever! She was the most loving, caring, generous, and always so giving. She always wore her heart on her sleeve. When you met her you were automatically her chosen family. Being B.O.I. she loved cookouts, camping, swimming, fishing, tubing, and anything to do with water.
Debra is survived by her children Jules Fontenot and CJ Monroe, grandmother Lucy Clay, sister Elizabeth Monroe, brothers Richard Monroe III and Robert Monroe, step father Richard Monroe Jr, and many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many other family members and her chosen family.
