David Wayne Balfour
David Wayne Balfour, 72, resident of Dickinson, Texas passed away peacefully in his own home on September 14, 2024. David was born on June 18th, 1952, to his father, Alexander Balfour and mother, Phalor Balfour-Telschow in Galveston, Texas.

There, he earned the nickname, “Super Dave” by his fellow workers and was renowned throughout Valero. David dedicated 36 years of service to Valero before retiring in 2018.
David was described by his peers and family as intelligent, hardworking, meticulous, and compassionate. His pastimes included remodeling homes, building muscle cars, watching movies, and dining at various restaurants in the Houston area.

Very sorry for your loss David was a good friend very intelligent person. David and I worked hand and hand on many projects. He could be loud at times and speak his mind in front of anyone to get his point across. SUPER DAVE was a nickname he earned and he did it well. David will be missed by many through TCR up to the Valero days.
In my heart I see Khristy running up to give you a big hug & Grandpa AB running up to meet you with one of his zingy one-liners (and of course a beer in hand). Dad, may you find rest and peace; and for all who are missing you, may we all find comfort and condolences in knowing that you’re up in heaven, smiling, and with loved ones.
Condolences to the Balfour family in the loss of David, father & grandfather. Rest in Peace David.
Kim,
Rose and I will not be able to attend David’s service. Just know our prayers are with you and the family during and after this difficult time.
We are here for you.
Love you. 🙏
Robert and Rose
Our condolences to the Family from your cousin’s the Norregaard’s and
