David Trung-Tin Phan, passed away on October 7, 2016 at the age of 24. David was born October 21, 1991 in Houston, TX. He went to Glenda Dawson High School and was a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, majoring in Human Biology. David worked at St. David’s Hospital in Austin, Texas in preparation to enter medical school. During high school, David was an active member of the HUB student ministry at Houston’s First Baptist Church. In his college years, he was a part of many Christian organizations including The Austin Stone Church, Camp Tejas, and was an alumnus member of the Christian fraternity, Beta Upsilon Chi.

David leaves behind his parents, Chau and Anh Phan; sister, Esther Phan; aunts: Phuoc Phan, Loc Phan, Hien Phan, Cam Phan, Thao Phan, Thuan Phan and Bich Phan, Helen Dang, husband, Minh Dang, Thu Hong Vo, husband, Liem Nguyen, Thu-Cuc Pham, husband, Thang Pham and Anh Nguyet Thi Vo, husband, Tran Ky Huynh; uncles: Bao Phan, wife, Thanh-Van, Tam Chi Vo, wife Tinh Tran and Hieu Chi Vo, wife My-Linh Do; cousins: Thien Phan and Christina Nguyen Phan, Thien Dang, wife Phaly, Michelle Hoang My Vo, husband, An Vo, Hong An Nguyen, Nghia Mark Nguyen, wife, Yen Nguyen, Thien An Pham Vo, husband, David Cuong Vo, Christopher Pham, wife, Kathy Pham, Timothy Pham, Thanh Huong Huynh, Thien Thanh Huynh, Thien An Huynh, Anh Thu, Anh Thy, Huynh Anh, My Anh,  Jonathan, Sarah, Christine, and Andrea; 2^nd cousins: Andrew, Miriya, Marlena, Alayna Jayson, Brandon, Joyce, Rachel and Clementine Vo.

There will be a visitation on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10 am in the chapel of  Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 Broadway Blvd (FM 518) Pearland, TX 77581 (281) 412-3000, followed by a burial service at Houston Memorial Gardens 2426 Cullen Blvd. in Pearland, TX 77584.
