David Scott Sanders
David S. Sanders, 25, of League City, Texas, died June 19, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in a pool accident.
He was born on July 16, 1991 in Houston, Texas, the beloved son of Jane and Scott Sanders. He attended school in Alvin, Texas, and started high school as a freshman at Manvel High School. He then attended Clear Springs High School in the Clear Creek Independent School District. He graduated from Clear Springs in 2010, where he was a member of the high school concert and marching bands. He attended Houston Community College and graduated in 2014 with a two-year certificate in office skills.
David attended League City United Methodist Church. He was currently working as a customer service representative for Kroger in League City.
David is survived by his parents, Scott and Jane Sanders and his sister, Emily Sanders. He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Richard and Jan Sanders, of Troy, Ohio, and his maternal grandparent, Erica Freeman, of Chanhassen, Minnesota. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on June 22, 2017 at League City United Methodist Church. Many family members and friends gathered to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making donations to the Autism Society of America on his behalf.
