David Justin Hemenway
Mr. David Justin Hemenway, 83, passed away September 20, 2018 in Friendswood, TX. Mr. Hemenway was born November 8, 1934 in Laredo, TX.
Lt. Commander Hemenway served 15 years in the U.S. Navy. He was a pilot during the Korean War. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife in their late years and loved his Houston Astros.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Justin and Dorothy Hemenway; sisters June Lockwood and Peggy Hemenway; and brothers Albert and Stanley Hemenway.
Mr. Hemenway leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years, Joan Reid; sons: Scott Hemenway, wife Judy and Sandy Hemenway; step daughters: Susan Weber, husband Larry and Dianne Stryk, husband Richard; step sons: Stephen Reid III, wife Dana and Robert Reid, wife Lisa; grandchildren: Andrew Weber, Courtney Stryk-Gibson, husband Chris, Joel Stryk, Kevin Stryk, Stephen West Reid, Jarrod Reid, Bradley Reid, Conrad Reid and Megan Hemenway: great grandchildren: Madison Wood and Mia Hemenway.
There will be a memorial service held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581.
