David Crockett Falks Jr.
David Crockett Falks Jr, 74, of Texas City died unexpectedly on August 08, 2020 at Mainland Center Hospital. He was born August 02, 1946 in Galveston, Tx, the son of David and Pearlie (Guttenberger) Falks Sr.
David graduated from Texas City High School, Class of 1965. Following graduation, he attended Alvin Community College. After College, David had a long successful career with the Galveston County Tax Office before retiring as the Director of Security for the Mall of the Mainland in 2008.
David participated in many community events held at The Mall of the Mainland, Taste of the Town, and La Marque Chamber of Commerce. He was also an active Lifetime Member of The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo serving as a volunteer on the Rodeo Express Committee for many years.
David is preceded in death by his father, David Crockett Falks, Sr.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife of 48 years, Jean C. Falks, son; David B. Falks, Jr.; grandchildren; Brenden David Falks and Noah Cherry; mother; Pearlie Falks; aunts and uncles; Bobby and Louise Guttenberger, Paul and Willene Guttenberger, and Ann Falks Warling; cousins Martha and Nathan Cashion and their son, Cole; along with numerous other extended family in Galveston and Brazoria County.
There will be a visitation held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home located at 851 FM 517 in Dickinson, TX
