  2. David always greeted the world with a big smile! We met as neighbors, many years ago. Every year when I would see him and Angela at events, they always took time to say hello. His smile was a beautiful light to the world. We will miss him so much! <3 RIP dear friend!

  5. Many years ago, lots of 20 something’s found their way to Clear Lake and surrounding areas…many far from their home states for the first time. Dave Braun was instrumental at organizing Social and spiritual events to keep people in touch with others going through the same transitions. It was a glimpse of things to come for Dave, as he continued to develop his gift for building people into good, faithful citizens of God’s Kingdom. What a tribute to his stewardship to be honored as such a leader. Dave accomplished much, loved well and will be missed by all who have had the pleasure of meeting him.Prayers for the family, Angela and Michael. God bless,

  8. Dear God – Thank you for David – for his spirit that endures and the many ways that he loved those around him.

Lord, we pray for those who mourn Jerry’s death: Angela, Michael, Don and Sadie, Kathy, Danny Chris, Albert and Estella Garcia. Surround them with your love. Be gentle with them in their grief. Show them the depths of your love, that they may not be overwhelmed by their loss, but have confidence in your goodness and strength to meet the days to come.

You know our hearts and share our sorrows. David’s death hurts. When we are angry at the loss we have sustained, when we long for words of comfort, yet find them hard to hear, turn our grief to truer living, our affliction to firmer hope.
Father, David’s death also brings an emptiness into our lives. We are separated from him and feel broken. Give us confidence that he is safe and his life complete with you, and bring us together at the last to the wholeness and fullness of your presence in heaven, where your saints and angels enjoy you forever and ever.

  9. My deepest sympathy to the Braun family. Even though it has been many years since our lives on Bissell Avenue, I still recall our childhood days fondly. I know David had an amazing full life far away from here and am truly sorry to hear of his passing so young.
