Darrell Edward DeFalco

Darrell Edward DeFalco, 64, a resident of San Leon, Texas, passed away on July 29, 2024. He was born on February 17, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio, to parents, Ralph Joseph DeFalco and Rachel Louise (Warns) DeFalco.

Darrell worked as an iron worker and crane operator for many years. He worked very hard to provide for his family and was the very best at his job. His nickname Krazy, which most knew him by, was given to him in his iron working days. That is also when he met a lot of his closest friends. Darrell had strong faith in God. He was a member of His Touch Worship Center and volunteered every Sunday. One of Darrell’s favorite things to do was grill, drink an ice cold beer and smoke a cigar. His children thought the world of him and cherished him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, daughter; Kristen Anne Barnett and husband Kolton Young Barnett, son; Samual William DeFalco and wife Yuliana Carmen DeFalco, daughter; Rachelena Anne DeFalco and daughter; Jennifer Lynn Taylor.

  4. Godspeed Darrell,
Although I only knew you for a relatively short period of time, the moments we spent together were full of joy and laughter. Family time with the Grands and moments of shared happiness. I recall you teasing the hospital staff during a medical visit where I was you’re your designated driver back home. You had them all in stitches!! You definitely lived your life to the fullest and I hope that your children remember the good times and fond memories in spite of their loss. You were quite the character and the “Freezer Cow” story is one of the funniest anecdotes I have ever heard…a true teaching moment for your children and I hope someone will bring it up in your eulogy?! May you enjoy the afterword as much as you enjoyed this world!
My heartfelt condolences, love y’all, Tim Ruble.
