Daniel was a very special man . He loved the Lord , cherished his time of service as firefighter , and loved and cherished his family and friends . May the Lord comfort each of you now and in all the days ahead with all of you knowing that at sometime in the future those of you who accepted Christ as Savior will see Daniel again in Heaven praising the Lord .
I worked with Daniel In the Houston Fire Department since the mid 70″s. I can truly say Daniel will be greatly missed by all HFD members that knew him. There was never a dull moment at the Firehouse when Daniel was on duty. I’ve never seen Daniel or Daniel’s dad, Mannie with out a smile at work. Daniel loved his family and often spoke how much he loved his wife. I’ve known quite a few Fireman that have gone on before us, and all were great guys like Daniel. All are gone but none forgotten.
My deepest sympathy to the Estes family. The loss of a loved one is so hard to bear. Our heavenly Father lovingly assures us “I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.” (Isa. 41:10) May the God of all comfort be with you at this difficult time. (2 Cor. 1:3,4)
