Dale Fourcade
Dale Fourcade, resident of Alvin, Texas passed away on October 9, 2017. She was born to Julius Carlton Bessire and Marie Gundermann Bessire on January 10, 1955 in Texas City, Texas.
Dale was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Dale graduated from Texas City High School in 1973. She was a pioneer in the Texas homeschool movement and dedicated her life to raising her children and serving others. She was a long time Meals On Wheels volunteer, an active member of the Galveston County Republican Party and the Houston Association of Realtors. Even through years of illness, she continued to pour her love and life into helping others. Her strength and compassion were an inspiration to all she met.
She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Paul Fourcade; daughters Shana Anderson and husband Rod, Stephanie Reetz and husband Blake, son Matt Fourcade and fiancée Lynn; grandchildren Bailey Anderson and Lucas and Emerson Reetz; sisters Gwen Eversole and husband Clay, Juli Sullivan and husband Dean, and eleven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., and funeral services will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at James Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Dale’s name to Houston Hospice, Samaritan’s Purse or Operation Blessing.
Paul, Shana & family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Dale was a real sweetheart & will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
