Cynthia Rosalis Falco
It is with profound sadness that the family of Cynthia “Cindy” Harlan Falco announce her passing on December 23, 2020. Cindy spent her final days at home in League City surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her father, George L. Harlan and step sister, Lisa Marie Trevino.
Cindy was born on March 31, 1956 in San Antonio at Lackland AFB to George L. Harlan and Rosalis Puhalak. Her family later relocated to Marlin, Texas. She met the love of her life, Nunzio Falco while attending Marlin High School. They married soon after her graduation. After moving to League City in 1975, she began a career as a graphic designer, first working at a local newspaper, then spending seventeen years with Foley’s in the advertising department. For the past seven years Cindy was employed by Apple, Inc. as a level two advisor. She had a talent for helping others navigate technical computer issues.
When she wasn’t working, you could find her sewing. She was a gifted seamstress and quilter, a skill she inherited from her mother and grandmother. She was passionate about quilting and loved making them for family. The only thing she was more passionate about was her role as Nana to her nine grandchildren. Spending time with each one of them was her greatest pleasure. Family dinners, outdoor movies and vacations together made her happiest. She was the organizer of the best family traditions like baking Italian cookies at Christmas, making homemade Italian sausage and 1000 count water balloon fights at the lake. She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother and Nana.
Cindy is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Nunzio Falco; children, Elysia and her husband, Mickey Johnson; Anthony and his wife, Tiffani Falco; Victoria and her husband, Jeremy Butzke; Mother, Rosalis Tyboroski and her husband, Julian; grandchildren: Alexandra, Gianna and Priscilla Johnson; AJ, Carter and Avelyn Falco; Ava, Finna and Layna Butzke; siblings: Deborah Ownby and her husband, Sam; Lisa Roppolo and her husband, Nathan; step sister Tina Powell and her husband, Mike; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, many cousins and friends.
Please join the family on December 30, 2020 for a rosary at 7:45am followed by a funeral mass at 8:30am, St. Mary Catholic Church, League City. The graveside service will be held at 10am, Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
We are so deeply sorry for your loss. We will continue to keep you and your family in our thoughts, hearts and prayers.

I worked with Cindy many years ago at the same newspaper off of El Camino Dr when I too lived in League City Texas. She was a great boss and we had some fun times at the newspaper. She, Jeff and myself spent many hours there.
She will be deeply missed. She was a fighter til the end. May she Rest In Peace and she will be looking down from Heaven above guiding and protecting her family and friends. She battled her cancer as I too battle my cancer each and everyday.
What an amazing woman. She will surely be missed. My heart breaks for her family. She was the perfect mentor and friend; I loved her dearly.
How thoughts and prayers are with all the family. May god bless you all. Albert Zost Jr. and wife Charlotte

Cindy was such a beautiful soul and a ray of sunshine to everyone. She was never seen without a smile on her face. We were blessed to have known her. Our love and prayers are with you.
What a wonderfully sweet lady. She always made me feel like family. My deepest condolences to the whole family.
Rest In Peace sweet lady
My first memory of meeting Cindy was at a Plant Process Equip. company softball team game that Nunzio and my husband Stephen were on back around 1981 or 2. We both were young mothers with son’s the same age. I liked that girl from the moment I saw her! So beautiful and sassy, so open. We would see each other through the years and she was always so present with you, even if i’d had been awhile. A smart and loving wife and mother was evident in all these years. Along with Nunzio, involved not only with family, but their faith community of St. Mary’s. Her talents in the art of quilt-making are in how she made and gave to new mother’s, my daughter’s included. She got me a discount on one of my first IPhones. That was awesome! Thanks again for that Cindy 🙂
Our prayers are with you Nunzio, Elysia, Tony and Victoria and all the family. We all could have used some more time with her.
I love you Aunt Cindy! May you rest in peace with Papa George, Dona, Nana P and Aunt Lisa Marie. We will miss your more then you will ever know.

Cindy was so kind and loving! She made beautiful blankets for my baby daughter and I’ll think of her bright soul every time I look at those blankets. My deepest sympathy for the family she loved so much.
Nunzio, my heart goes out to you and your family. Cindy was a wonderful person. Even though I haven’t seen you all in years it seems like yesterday when we were all in highschool together.
