A childhood friend since High School days that were lived with all the fun young teens should enjoy, good clean fun! From Sorority days with exciting escapades that had us laughing till we cried, to parties and dinners enjoyed with our friends while graduating to boy interests. The icing on the cake was our weddings and after filling our house with the blessings of children we gathered monthly for Bunco games at each other’s homes, a much appreciated night out! This was where we learned from each another all the ins & outs & ups & downs of motherhood. Having more laughs than a barrel of monkeys!
So friend, I believe with all I have in me that you invited Jesus into your heart & life accepting his free gift of Eternal Life and are now looking into the face that paid the price for your Soul. Knowing we will once again be together sharing Heaven with all our loved ones who went before and those on the way. The bible says: Believe on the lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved! Amen
love your forever friend, Mickey Wendt John 3:16
Jim and I met Cori & Bill in 1971, 53 years ago
We were neighbors with only one house in between us. We were best friends we did everything together, even grocery shopping. Our kids were all little together and we were the same age as them. As time passed we lost touch with one another but in 2015 we found each other again and it was like we never were apart. We grew even closer than ever. I went to visit Cori every Year and we talked once or twice a week just like she lived a house away. I couldn’t have had a better friend, she definitely was the sister I never had. We always ended each phone call with I love you. I will miss her dearly
I will always remember talking to Mrs Linklater in the kitchen of the Tinley house. Mr Linklater would be watching that little tv and Mrs Linklater would always say, “sit down honey”. She was always in a good mood and excited to catch up. She will be missed, but now Mr and Mrs Linklater are finally together once again in heaven…RIP
Mrs. Linklater was a truly special person who had a profound impact on my life. I spent a lot of time at their house, especially during my teenage years. Whether we were having conversations or enjoying dinner, Mrs. Linklater always made me feel welcome and at home. Her warmth and kindness will be deeply missed. May she find eternal peace.
Cori was my first friend in high school (1962). She was positive, happy, fun, loyal
and always sensitive to others feelings. I cherish the wonderful memories we made.
My deepest sympathy to her family and all those who loved her.
May your hearts always feel the love and joy you shared. I will be praying you
feel God’s presence and peace as he comforts you during this difficult time.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds”.Psalm 147:3
With love and prayers,
