Consuelo (Chelo) Lujan Tejeda, passed away December 6, 2022 in League City, Texas. She was born in Mexico.

Consuelo is preceded in death by her mother Paula Tejeda, father Pedro Lujan. Her children Celia (Chelita), and Sergio (Checo) Gracia. Her brothers: Jesus (Chuy), Manuel and Alberto Lujan.
Consuelo is survived by her children Martha and Elsa Gracia Lujan.
Grandchildren E. Yadira and John Trujillo, Arturo, Jessica and Orlando Ovando Gracia, Sergio Jr. and Monica Gracia. Great-grandchildren: Luke Eduardo Mokrenski, Gino David Trujillo, Axel Ovando Gonzalez, Arturo, Daven and Emma Paola Ovando Montaño, Israel Rolando and Vanya Paola Diaz Ovando, Orlando and Daniel Alexis Ovando Ramirez, Christian, Niccolo, Danielli, Gianna Gracia, Santiago Gracia, Izabella, Julianna and Antonella Ramirez, as well as extended family and friends.

Consuelo was a devoted Catholic who died with all the sacraments of the Church. She prayed fervently for all those in her life, and when family members or friends passed away, she would pray novenas for them.
She enjoyed crocheting and needle point as well as gardening. She was full of generosity. Whenever someone close to her was in need, she would go to be with them and help cook and clean for them during their time of need.

The Family will receive friends on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 5:00pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573. A Mass will follow on Tuesday at 11:30am at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4100 Highway 3, Dickinson, Texas 77539 with Father Luke Demeyer officiating. Interment will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galveston, Texas.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Regent Care Center as well as Essential Hospice for the care and compassion they provided to their love one.
