Concepcion Ramirez, of League City, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the age of 86. She was born July 9, 1931 in LaFeria, Texas to Abel and Maria Lozano.  Concepcion believed in the power of prayer, turning to Virgin Mary for guidance and help.  The first thing in her day was kneeling and praying at home just like her mother had.  She felt her greatest accomplishment in life was being a good wife and mother of her four children. She loved life, good food, coffee, the Houston Rockets and watching the beautiful birds that visited her bird feeder.  She is preceded in death by her sisters Sara, Lupita & Anna. Concepcion is survived by her husband of 48 years Mario Ramirez, children Maria, Marcus, Lucy and husband Mario, Steven, sisters Irene and Gina, brother Henry and many other loving family and friends.  A Memorial Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic Church in League City, Texas.  In lieu of flowers, you may send memorials to The Independence Village, 905 Highway 3 North, Texas City, Texas 77591.
