  3. My sincere condolences to the Chapman family.

I have know Charlie since 10-18-82, because we were classmates in the academy. Charlie and I worked together and stayed in contact during his time with the state police. His wife Cathy was a dear friend and we all spent memorable times together. Since Charlie and Cathy moved to Texas, I didn’t hear too much from him. Charlie was a great man, a great friend and a great husband. My prayers are with Cathy and the kids.

  11. The Charlie I knew was gentle and always willing to get involved for the good of mankind. Charlie and I met almost two years ago, but it felt like I’ve known him forever. I had nothing but admiration for him. Apart from seeing him at the Council meetings, we also met at the Chapter meetings and at the 4th Degree turnouts.

Brother Charlie was a very good man and he will be missed. My condolences to his wife Cathy and their children and his other loved ones.
    Love you, Charlie!

  12. Charlie was a great man and a dear colleague to many. His kindness and integrity was the highest I have seen in a human being. His true desire to help anyone he could is a testament to the man he was. May God have Grace upon his family, as he is called Charlie home for a greater opportunity to be with the Lord.

Whether it was ushering at Mass, serving donuts in Cargill Hall with the Knights of Columbus, working the Silent Auction at the parish Bazaar or whatever else someone needed, there was Charlie and often with Cathy working right with him. So incase you haven’t heard a big thank you, Charlie and Cathy, here is a huge one – THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. You are forever appreciated and, Charlie, you will certainly be missed around here.
