We will be praying for Russell’s family during this sad time. You fought hard buddy, it’s time to rest. Thank you for your service! I’m sure you had many Marines welcoming you to Heaven! You still owe me a cucumber sammich; I will see you when I get to Heaven!
Bub, I’m so very lost without you. It should have been me that got cancer and not you. I thank u for always having my back. I’m sorry I let u down. U will always be my hero. Tell mom and daddy that I’m doing the best I can.
It truly saddens me to find this. Prayers for his family. Russ and I served together in Okinawa and I have many fond memories of him. He was always a hard charger and great Marine. Rest in Peace Brother Semper Fidelis.
I am deeply saddened at the loss of a good friend, yet am comforted knowing he is at rest and in the arms of the Lord. Russ was a long time collogue and friend to many of us at Everest and his lives on in our fondest memories. Thank you for taking the time to touch our lives with your humor and friendship, rest easy soldier.
