Charles Richard “Rikki” Price
Charles Richard Price (better known as Rikki and CR) of Santa Fe, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 5, 2017. He was born January 12, 1957. Rikki proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Rikki was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. All who knew Rikki cherished him and their time with him. His daughter, Addison was his “little angel” and his world revolved around her. His mom was his anchor and he lived to make her happy. His sister, Kim (Bo) was his best friend and their bond was like no other. He would do anything for his sister, Robin. Rikki was handsome, caring, selfless and he always enjoyed helping others, especially those who could not help themselves. He enjoyed visiting Jim (Jimmy Pop Pop) and taking his dogs, Max and Sweet Pea treats every day. He was an avid sports fan and you could always catch him listening to sports talk radio or watching his favorite teams on the tv in his favorite spot in the garage: he and “Bo” would solve most of the world’s problems in that same spot. Rikki Had a love of Country Music and had even written and recorded a few songs of his own. He loved his pets and his dog “Poot” was his loyal friend and was always by his side. Rikki cherished his nephew and nieces and enjoyed spoiling them with their favorite junk foods, especially McDonalds and hot Cheetos and he always made a point to tell them that he loved them. Rikki loved his aunt Lorene and family in Florida and cherished childhood memories of growing up with his cousin, Ronnie. Here in Santa Fe, he enjoyed family gatherings at aunt Theresa’s to celebrate holidays with the family. Rikki’s favorite foods were wedding cookies, boiled peanuts, green bean casserole and mom’s sour cream pound cake was the best. Rikki is survived by his daughter, Addison Price of Austin, Texas, his mother Merle Brown of Santa Fe, Texas, and sister Robin Campbell and husband Jack of Santa Fe, Texas. He is also survived by his nephew, Nathan Hahn of College Station Texas and nieces Jacqueline Campbell of College Station, Texas and Lindsay Rhodes and husband Cody of New Braunfels, Texas. Rikki is also survived by precious family member, Jim Thompson (Jimmy Pop Pop) of Santa Fe, Texas, and his faithful companion and pet Poot. Services will be held for Rikki at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas on Friday, November 10 at 11:00. Because of Rikki’s love for animals, in lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to their local animal shelter.
Love ya man
Gonna miss ya
Our condolences go out to Rikki’s precious daughter Addison, his mother Merle, and his sister Robin. We have known this family for many years and they are a close knit loving group of people who care deeply for others. We were able to watch Addison, Nathan, Jacqueline, and Lindsay grow up into impressive adults who will carry on the family traditions with pride. Rikki’s whole world evolved around his daughter Addison. She was his whole world and his pride and joy. Rikki wanted nothing but the best for her.
Our hearts are breaking for this family who just lost Rikki’s sister and best friend and his best friend Kim only six days prior to his passing. May this family reach out to God for peace, comfort, and strength. I cannot even imagine what Rikki’s mom Merle must be going through right now having lost two
I if her children six days apart. I pray for her that she will always relish her memories of her precious children..Rikki and Kim will be missed but never forgotten.
