Catha Dean Allen Paukert, 86, of La Marque, TX joined her husband in heaven on Thursday, December 7, 2017.  She was born October 24, 1931 in Alabama to George & Trannie Allen.

 Catha was originally from Alabama, but had been in Texas for most of her adult life, spending the last 56 years in La Marque and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, La Marque. 

 She is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Tom Paukert, parents, George & Trannie Allen, brother, Edward Allen, sisters, Ann Taylor, Lois Sweeney, Mary Hawley, and Shirley Allen.  Catha is survived by her daughters Tricia Wilkinson of La Marque, Karen VanHorne (Van) of Alvin; sister Brenda Weaver (Jimmy) of Vestavia, AL; grandsons, Chris Junemann (Courtney), Robert Vaughn, Jamie Vaughn (Rachel); granddaughters, Meagan Wilkinson & Tierra Rudisill; great grandchildren, Easton Springer, Brianna Junemann, Allyson Junemann & Chris Cochran, along with several nieces & nephews & great nieces & nephews.  Our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Friend was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. 

 A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be at 1: 00pm Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Family Unity Baptist Church in La Marque (1221 Cedar Dr).
