Carolyn Kay (Stephens) Crenshaw, age 80, passed from this life on August 27, 2023. Carolyn was born on January 27, 1943 in Elsa, Texas to parents, Cecil Clayton Stephens and Fannie Marie (Switzer) Stephens.

She worked in the food service  industry and worked for Hillmans Seafood for many years.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Burton Crenshaw; daughter, Gay Crenshaw; brothers, Dub Stephens and A.J. Stephens and wife, Agnes Stephens and grandchildren, Amanda West and Ashleigh Crenshaw.

She leaves behind to cherish a lifetime of memories, daughters, Lisa Kay Disiere and husband, Ricky, Janet Grande and Sodonia Bernard; son Guy Crenshaw ; sisters, Maggie Meeks and husband, J.B., Myrna Slansky and husband, T.J. and Nancy Bolen; brothers, Payton Stephens and wife, Jimmie Lee, Joe Stephens and wife, Alice and John Stephens and wife, Vita; grandchildren, Michael Crenshaw and wife Alesha, Tiffany Hansen and husband, Trey, Chris Crenshaw, William West, Kaleigh Crenshaw, Kourtney Crenshaw, Shelby Langston, Haley Crenshaw, Paige Disiere, Carey Crenshaw, Chelsea Ruhl and husband, Dakota, Cyndi Camacho, Vincent Camacho, Sam Bernard and Jackson Bernard; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A visitation is planned for Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas followed by a funeral service on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at San Leon Cemetery in San Leon, Texas.

Reception to follow graveside service at the American Legion in San Leon.
