Our beloved Aunt and Uncle, Carol and Tom “TJ” Mills passed away after 65 years of marriage in League City, TX. Carol, 82, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022, and Tom, 88, followed her in death only 2 days later on Sunday, May 22, 2022.

Carol was born on December 9, 1939 in Oklahoma City, OK to Neatis and Loarine Burket. She enjoyed bowling, quilting, and crafting of all kinds. Tom was born on June 21, 1933 in Houston, TX to Tom Trup and Annie Ruth Mills. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. As a couple, Carol and Tom were one of a kind. Carol was very loud and outspoken, and Tom was more reserved. They balanced each other perfectly. They were always together no matter where in the world their journey led them. They are survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents (Neates and Loarine), stepfather (Buddy), and half-brother (James). Tom was preceded in death by his parents (Trup and Annie), 4 brothers (Roy, Charlie, Floyd, and Clarence), 2 sisters (Katherine and Betty), and loving wife (Carol).

Services will take place on Saturday, June 18,2022 at 1pm at Confederate Cemetery 998 Dickinson Rd. Followed by a celebration of life at Joe’s BBQ in Alvin, TX from 2pm to 4pm.
