Brenda Wimmer Sliney
Brenda Wimmer Sliney, 77, of Pearland, TX peacefully passed away on July 03, 2024 at her home in Pearland. She was born on December 07, 1946 to Coy and Helen Wimmer in Danville, VA. She has been a 16 year resident of Pearland and formerly of Centerville, VA.
Brenda completed her Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology at James Madison University and the Medical College of Virginia. She spent her career working as a laboratory technician in private practices. Her last employment was with Reston Town Center Pediatrics where she worked for over a decade as a pediatric laboratory technician until she retired in 2008.
She had a passion and talent for picture framing and loved arts and crafts of all kinds. She was creative and enjoyed at any given time working on some type of project, from needlework to painting to wood crafts. She also enjoyed cooking, trips to the beach, antiques and a love for cats.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Coy and Helen Wimmer and sister Marie Gammon. She is survived by her daughter Heather Tomas and her husband Laurent; son Brian Sliney; granddaughters Marie-Laure Tomas and Lucie Tomas.
Heather I am so sorry t hear that your mother has passed. I can remember many happy times Judy and I had with your parents. I think of those happy days often.
