With deep sadness the family of Brenda Carol Walker reports her passing on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Carol was born in Orlando Florida on January 24, 1945 to father Robert Henderson Walker and mother Lucy Frank (Thornton) Walker.

She is survived by her sisters Barbara Connell and Marilyn Quaig and by her brother Robert Walker.

While growing up in Orlando, Carol was an excellent student, a championship speller, and especially loved the study and usage of the English language. She married Donald J. Depperschmidt and together they had son Donald Anthony (Tony) and daughters Valerie Michele and Angela Denise. While raising her family, Carol worked as an executive assistant for Pepsi Bottling Company and S&B Engineering until she became a proofreader for NASA contractor Omni Plan, where she served until her retirement in 2007.

The pride and joy of Carol’s life was her grandchildren Zachary John, Siena Michele, Aubrey Nicole, Matthew Wayne, Ashtyn Rylee, and Cade Michael. She enjoyed following their successes in karate, dance, swimming, volleyball and baseball as well as their academic achievements.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18th at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St., Pearland, TX 77581.
