Bree Morecraft, 99, of Pearland Texas passed away on May 18, 2024 in Houston Texas. Bree was born on March 30, 1925 to Joseph and Bree Coffindaffer in Winding Gulf, West Virginia.

Bree received her Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics and Child Psychology at West Virginia University. Later in life she went on to work for the University’s Engineering School and served a longtime career in the Theoretical and Applied Mechanics Department. Bree was also a member of the Monongahela chapter of the Daughters of the American Colonists. Bree was an avid reader with a love and appreciation for books, novels, and language arts. She had a love of music from the big band era and for modern contemporary styles.

Bree is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Alice Bree Coffindaffer; and her husband Fred H. Morecraft Sr. Bree is survived by her son Fred H. Morecraft Jr. and his wife Becky; her Grandchildren Fred H. Morecraft III and his wife Shannon; and John G. Morecraft and wife Nichole. Bree is also survived by her Great Grandchildren, Delany, Peyton, Isabel, Ophelia, and Brooks.
