Bob Edward Kocks

Bob Edward Kocks, 58 of Dickinson passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024.  He was born on July 19, 1965 to Jerry and Virginia Kocks in San Antonio, TX.

Bob was a resident of Dickinson for two years, formerly from New Mexico. He was a member of New Life Fellowship in Texas City.

Bob served as the music leader, a member of our Vision Team, and as a Counselor for our Food Ministry at New Life Fellowship.

He is survived by his mother Virginia Frost (Lane Van Allen), close friends, Amy & Steve Amormino, Mike & Veronica Amormino, Shane Bryan, aunt, Nancy Vale & Richard and numerous friends.  Bob was the life of every party.  He always brought laughter and joy to all occasions.  He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.  We will see him again one day at our eternal home in heaven, where he’s currently rejoicing with the Angels.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 2:00pm at the New Life Fellowship Church in Texas City with Mike Amormino officiating.

  2. BOB I will never forget all the Laughs and good times we shared. I’m grateful that you were a part of my life. I will miss laughing together! You were one of a kind and will be missed so much! It still hasn’t really hit me that you’re gone but you’re in a better place! I love and miss you my friend!
