Condolences to you and your family Sissy Swafford .
I was absolutely saddened to hear of Billy Paul Day’s passing. He was a great guy and I’ll always remember the many times he made us all laugh. There is a great emptiness left by Billy’s passing, but I am certain that the strength of the love that you and your family share for each other and for Billy will get you through this difficult time. May that love honor his memory and may you cherish the time you had together. I will never forget his love of the Dallas Cowboys. I think he loved that team with all his heart. Billy will always be remembered as an especially giving person of great character. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. – Mathew 5:4. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. – 1 Peter 5:7. Billy Paul Day’s memory will be forever in our hearts.
With all our love and condolences,

Debbie, There is no way I can ever find the words to thank you for your help and for being with me during the lowest point of my life. I love you. MH
I will miss your extremely contagious laugh!!! Even on a bad day, that laugh and smile would make me smile. Starting off ready to just kill each other on the softball field and ending up as friends was worth it all! I will miss you Billy! God Bless you until we see you again my friend.
Thank you for your thoughts.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Billy. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. I will always remember the good times; friend and softball teammate.
Thank you. He was always ready to have a good time and he loved his friends and his sports
May GOD hold you all Close. I am so sorry for your loss. My Prayers are with you all.
Thank you for caring.
Thank you.
Billy, my Brother..I learned so much from you..and I never gave you my thanks for quite a bit of those things. When I walked into the room and saw you laying there..I was so so angry..I got to my knees and beat on your chest..in hopes to make you come back..but I could tell it was too late. I looked at your face..you had a look of peace and a small smile on your face. I knew you were having a hard time of it I could hear you cuss yourself out under your breath all the time..My Brother it hurts that you went this way. I wish I knew what was on your mind as you laid on that floor..looking up..what put that smile on your face.. I Promise You..You Will Not Be Forgotten… Not as long as I am alive, or as long as Mom and Dad are alive, or as long as Sissy is alive, or as long as your kids and grandkids are alive. You tell everyone up there that we all love them and miss them..when our time comes we will all be back together again…and you better do a good job of watching and rooting for the Cowboys. You have the best seat ever to watch God’s Team. Enjoy It My Brother. God Bless You, Billy Paul Day. I love you with all my heart and soul.
We will miss you Billy. You were an inspiration and a positive influence to all of those whose lives you touched. You always made us laugh and never ceased to amaze us with your drive. You touched our lives in many ways and we are better for having known you. Sleep warm dear Billy, sleep warm.
Thank you so much Ladies. He spoke very highly of you both.

Wendy, we know you would have been here if you could have. Your acts of love and kindness will never be forgotten. You have been a true friend to us all and we love you.
Raymond, Lou, Ray and Sissy…I honestly have nothing to say that will make the pain any less. Lou- you are like my second mother and I love you very much. I hurt deeply for you and your family. Every time I think of Billy it cracks me up. He was always so much fun and the life of the party. I have never seen him in a bad mood. I always enjoyed being around him hearing all of his jokes and just seeing that big smile. I will always remember Billy. The world would be a better place with more people like him. We will meet again…
Justin, I can not tell you how much your message means to. I too love you and always will. I can’t tell you how many times Billy and I talked about the times he worked with you, Ricky and the other guys on those turnarounds. How many laughs he and I had over the antics you, him and Ricky had and did. He never had a bad thing to say about those jobs. He loved working with you guys and he loved you as his friend. Your note and the beautiful plant you sent for his service will be remembered as long as I live,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Lou

I am deeply saddened by the news of your loss, Day family. Billy was a great guy that I’ve loved for many many years and when I heard the news I realized I still hold a piece of him in my heart. I’m so sad that he has left this earth but am sure that he has traveled to a much better place in heaven where he will look down upon all of us and do something to remind us that he is still laughing probably at us. My prayers go out to everyone who loved him, and know that the memories of him making us all laugh will never be forgotten. God bless Billy; Lu, Ray Sr, Sissy. Ray Jr, his children and grandchildren. God Bless
