Billy Delpha Calhoun, 86, resident of Dickinson, Texas passed from this life peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2016. He was born March 9, 1930 in Holland, Texas to parents, Arthur and Lena Calhoun.
Billy was a member of Pipefitters Local 211 in Houston, Texas and spent his career as a pipefitter in the construction industry which continued for 30 years until retirement. He was a lifelong Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Calhoun and daughter, Kay Calhoun.
Billy leaves to cherish his many memories, his son, Billy Dewayne Calhoun; sister, JoAnn Reeves and husband Coby; brother, Darnell Calhoun and wife Sharon, brother, Weldon Calhoun; and numerous friends.
In his honor a visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 5 to 7pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 1:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home with Pastor R.L. Calhoun officiating.
Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
