  6. BILLIE LESTER GLIDDEN was our guiding star. He, his wife Betty were close friends of the Cooke, Diehl, Querry families and many more! Bill just glowed every time he entered a room and projected such love for his sons William, Weldon, and daughter Dana and any of us who happened to be in his loving circle! You could not help but to love and hug him, as he had such a spiritual pull! He was a quiet, gentle, and completely loving Christian – always caring for those he loved…so many. When we lost his precious wife and love, Betty…we were devastated. But Bill was determined not to give up for his sons, daughter, and those he loved so much, Willam, Weldon and Dana! There are so many things that we loved about him, and still, we feel his presence. He was such a reflection of God’s love with all his heart! I am honored to have been in his life and in his circle of protection and love…I am blessed to know such an angel on earth! The Lord is sending peace, love, and comfort to his family and to those who loved him so dearly! Enjoy Heaven and your reunion with Betty and all the loyal friends who went before you. We will miss you, Bill, but know yo ill be there to greet us in the Heavenly realm! We will always love and cherish you, Bill! Godspeed, our beloved friend!

  11. Mr. Bill was a man of God. When Shawn and I first met him at First Baptist Church he captured our hearts. When we were in the process of selling our camper trailer and buying a house in Dickinson he opened his door for us to stay with him. He was the most loving man that I have ever met. Good man is not the words for him. He was by far above just a good man. Shawn and I love him so much that when we moved back to Dallas before we left we went by and saw him gave him a huge hug. Not expecting that it would be our last time to see him. He is truly sitting by our Lord in heaven. He will be missed so much by Shawn and I.
