Betty Vere Kessner, 91, a longtime resident of Dickinson, passed away April 1, 2017. Betty was born August 13, 1925, to Maude and Tony West in Hevlock, Nebraska.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alton Kessner, daughters Joan Hendricks and Shirley Kelly, and son David Louis Deshayes, Sr.

Betty is survived by her daughter Peggy Davis, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in her honor, 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at South Park Cemetery, Pearland, Texas, under the direction of Crowder Funeral Home, Dickinson, Texas.
