Betty Sue Plummer

Betty Sue was born 80 years ago, the youngest daughter to
CT and Mae, on a small farm in West Texas. She went on to
live her life in many different chapters: high school in Branson,
MO; college in Abilene, TX; young teacher/mom in
Amarillo,TX; busy school/church volunteer in Deer Park, TX;
beach bum in Port Aransas, TX; line dancing ranch hand in
Ruidoso, NM; “in-town grandma” in Denver, CO and Webster,
TX. She always prioritized being near her family, but her ready smile and social nature also created many dear friends in every place along the way. She has now gone on to write
new chapters and reunite with family and friends in Heaven. During her life, she was an involved and present mom to her three children—Kristi, Greg, and Julie—and their families. She was a fun and loving Grandmommy to her 6 grandkids, always enjoying a snuggle, a song, or a game (except maybe Uno Attack!). She will be missed by all, including big brother Lee Hall, and a vast network of Wescotts who knew and loved her as Aunt Betty. We will be celebrating her life at the Pioneer Chapel at 7A Ranch in Wimberley, Texas on Saturday, June 22. Anyone interested in attending may leave a comment below, or contact a family member. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association.
