Betty Lucille St. Clair Box, 95, passed away on February 11, 2025 in Webster, TX.  She was born in Beaumont, TX, on October 6, 1929, to John and Lucille St. Clair.  Betty lived in Beaumont and Lumberton most of her life, where she worked as a dental assistant for more than 20 years.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star organization and attended North End Baptist Church.  Betty lived in Beaumont and Lumberton most of her life.  She moved to the Pearland/Friendswood area in 2017 when Hurricane Harvey took her home and possessions.  In typical fashion, Betty showed perseverance as she built a new life in her final years.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Jack Box, parents Lucille and John St. Clair, and sister Ethel Faye “Bo” Reynolds.  She is survived by her son Randy Box and wife Belinda Box of Pearland, TX, son Ronnie Box of St. Charles, MO, grandchildren Travis Box, Brian Box, Kristin Huffman and Mallory Box, nephew Dale Reynolds and niece Donna Benefield.  Betty also cherished her 5 beautiful great-grandchildren.

Betty will be remembered for her compassion, courage, resilience and love for her family.  Her life will be celebrated at a later date with a graveside service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, TX.
