Betty Green, of League City, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in Webster, Texas at the age of 84. She was born on August 11, 1931 in Texarkana, Texas to Homer and Lorena Harbison. She was a devoted wife and mother. Betty worked as a secretary until retirement and was a dedicated servant of God at the League City Church of Christ for over 45 years. Betty is survived by her husband RC Green, Jr., daughters Beth A. Boyd and Amy C. Hixson and her husband Ralph, sons Robert V. Green and wife Jo Ellen, Barry C. Green and wife Lucy, grandchildren Caleb Green and wife Julia, Nathaniel Green and wife Sarah, Jessica Brown and husband Dan, Emily Bennett and husband Chris, Brenna Boyd, Christina Ponomarenko, Katya Green, Mikayla Hixson, and Miranda Hixson, great-grandchildren Caden Brown and Delaney Brown and many other loving family and friends. The Family will receive friends on Monday, January 4, 2015 from 6-8:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573. A Ceremony will follow on Tuesday at 11am at League City Church of Christ, 1801 E Main St, League City, TX 77573 with Brother Ralph Bryant officiating.
