Barry Lee Benson, 60 of Texas City passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 12, 1953 to Murel and Mauna Benson in Roosevelt, Utah. Barry was a resident of Texas City for over 30 years; he was a Millwright with Plant Processing Equipment for 30 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Mark Jensen and Mike Jensen. Barry is survived by his wife Rhonda Benson, son and his wife Toby and Joy Benoit, sisters Wendy Stubbs (Sterling), Kathy Benson and Barbara Benson, brothers Murel Benson (Lawan) and Carl Benson; his grandchildren Melody Benoit, Blake Benoit and Alec White.

A visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2014 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.
