  3. I’m so very sorry. I’m still in a state of shock that she’s gone. She was a wonderful caregiver for my Uncle Wayne Koons. I enjoyed spending time with her when I would come down to Houston for visits. We loved to go out to eat at new and different restaurants and just hanging out. She will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family.

We are so grateful to have known Barbara. During our 14 years living in Clear Lake, Barbara was the most delightful next door neighbor and friend, that anyone could ever ask for.
If we could say something to Barb, it would be to thank her — for her friendship, her kindness and grace, her undeniable sense of independence, her compassion, patience, and generosity, especially with her time.

  11. I have been so blessed to have Barbara in my life. We met 24 years ago when I moved in down the street from her. We did so many things together through the years, and she became one of my very best friends. She was such a genuine person, so full of life, love and joy. I always left her with a smile on my face. My boys loved seeing her and hugging her. I am going to miss her terribly, but I am comforted knowing she has been reunited with Jenny and Richard. Many prayers for comfort and peace for her family and friends.
