Mrs. Audrey Mae Aswell Lawson, age 93, passed away on July 19, 2021 in Baton Rouge, LA.  She was born July 18, 1928, to the late Preston and Ida Chevallier Aswell. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer J.Lawson to whom she was married for 57 years.

Audrey was a model for being a dedicated wife, loving mother and grandmother, loyal friend and a faithful follower of Jesus. She was a pillar to her family and leaves a legacy to remember.

Audrey is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Lawson (Karen) and Randy Lawson (Molly); three daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara Lawson Burnette (Michael -deceased), Sheila Lawson Anderson (Michael), Lori Lawson Reposa (Michael); seven grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

A memorial will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Crowder Funeral Home 111 E. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, Texas. Family visitation is at 8:30 am and friends visitation begins at 9:00 am. The service will follow at 10:00 am

The family will gather for a graveside service at 2 pm at Houston Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
