Arthur Randall Collins, of League City, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at his home in League City, Texas at the age of 95. He was born on August 7, 1920 in Silsbee, Texas to Wilkie and Berta Collins. Arthur served in the Army Air Corp in World War II as a Glider Pilot. On discharge, he moved to Texas City and worked for Union Carbide for 30 years. He met and married Lavonne Henley on May 11, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilkie and Berta, and sisters Jane Walker and Mary Lou Parks. Arthur is survived by his wife Lavonne, daughters Linda Demestihas and husband Bill, Peggy Collins, brother Wilkie W. Collins, Jr., granddaughter Allison McDonald and many other loving family and friends. The Family will receive friends 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 with a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 2 o’clock at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573.
