Archie Jay Roberts, of League City, Texas passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at the age of 64. He was born May 5, 1951 in Irvine, California to Grant R. and Laberne Roberts. We have all lost a free spirit who loved every day for the new experiences and challenges it presented. He survived and relished decades in a multi-national corporation by being a genuine personality committed to his friends and colleagues. Through the years he never backed away from opportunities which while uncomfortable represented his goals to take on new and exciting tasks. Now he rests in the hands and place the Lord has kept for him, and certainly he is enjoying the new position. Archie is survived by his wife Debra Roberts, stepchildren Crystal, Dusten and Breanna, sister Dee Dee, grandchildren Aaron, Cody, Blake, Owen, Alexis, Madison and Gracie. A funeral ceremony will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 12pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in League City, Texas. A memorial gathering will be held on January 23, 2016 in Upland, California at 12pm.
