ANNA MAE BELL ROBERTS of Houston, TX, formerly of Yawkey, WV, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014, at the age of eighty-seven. She was born on August 28, 1927, to the late Carl Bell and Marie Elswick Bell of Clendenin, WV. Although Anna Mae worked for Columbia Gas early in life, she became a lifelong homemaker after the birth of her son, dedicating herself to her late husband, Lawrence Roberts, and son Kevin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alta Faye Bell Harmon, and Rosalie Bell Shirley and one brother, Carl Lester Bell. She is survived by her son Kevin Roberts and wife Doris Diaz of Houston, Texas; grandson Byron Roberts and wife Penelope of Wellston, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Tucker and Aspen Roberts, also of Wellston, Ohio. A private viewing will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Crowder Funeral Home, Webster, Texas, with Cremation to follow.
