Ann Walsh Tedesco

Ann Walsh Tedesco, 83, passed away on March 2nd, 2025 in Webster, Texas. She was born on December 11th, 1941 in Mattydale, New York to Thomas and Mary Kate Walsh. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Michael and her son Matthew. She is survived by her children Kimberly Arancio, Erin Tedesco and her husband Aaron, and Mark Tedesco and his wife Virginia; sisters-in-law Diana Walsh and Betty Walsh; grandchildren Claudia Tedesco, Luke Tedesco, Gavin Arancio, and Grayson Arancio and many family members and friends around the world.

Ann earned a Bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College, now Mount St. Mary’s University, and a Master’s degree from the Catholic University of America. As the wife of a career Air Force officer, she raised her family largely abroad before settling in Tampa, Florida. Throughout her life she worked as a teacher and tutor in numerous subjects to students of all ages. A life-long learner herself, she loved to travel and was always eager to visit a new place and learn about its history, experience its culture, and spot its wildlife. Ann was a woman of faith, always active in her parish and working to support charitable endeavors, especially those focused on improving the lives of children, helping the disadvantaged, or preserving the natural environment.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 11:30 am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 18223 Point Lookout Dr., Nassau Bay, Texas 77058. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society (www.stvincentdepaul.net) or the National Audubon Society (www.audubon.org).

  5. Ann believed and lived one of St. Therese’s prayers.
“May today there be peace within you. May you trust in God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born in faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing that you are a chid of God. Let this presence settle into your bones and allow your soul the freedom to dance, sing, praise and love. It is there for each and everyone of us. Amen”

She will be in our and our neighbors memories.
