Ann Sharon Baker, 74, passed away September 11, 2016 at Memorial Hermann hospital after suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Ann Sharon Baker was born August 15, 1942 in Howell, Michigan. Ann graduated from Brighton High School and attended Michigan State University before later receiving her Masters in Education at the University of Houston while working full time.  Ann lived in the League City/Clearlake area for over 40 years and worked as a Math teacher who loved to expand the horizon of her students at Clear Creek High School.  Ann’s love of mathematics led her to transition into computer science where she later worked as a manager at United Space Alliance.  Ann is remembered for her hard work and exceptional character.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Doris Case.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Thomas Baker and wife Angela; grandchildren; Chloe Baker and Camden Baker whom she cherished; brother, Edmond Case and wife Rozalia; nephew Eric Case, aunt Doris Singer and cousin Carolyn Weber.  Ann’s family and friends knew her as a loving, kind, independent and selfless woman who is dearly missed.

  1. My deepest sympathy to the Baker family. My father also suffered with Alzheimer’s disease. After his loss a scripture that brought comfort to me is Isaiah 41:10. There it says to turn to God for strength and comfort. He promises to “fortify you” and says “I will really hold on to you with my right hand”. May the God of all comfortbe with you at this time. (2 Cor. 1:2-4)
