Andrew Adam Conques
Andrew Adam Conques, of League City, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family January 30, 2021 at the age of 49, after a long battle of complications from pancreatitis. He was born on July 6, 1971 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Anthony and Carole Lindsay Conques.
Andrew proudly graduated from LSU with a degree in engineering in 2003. He worked for many years as a Project Manager until realizing his passion was creating a business of his own. He started CC Tank Solutions with a mission to strive for excellence and greatness. He treated his employees like family and wanted to see their lives changed for the best. Andrew’s commitment to integrity and attention to detail will live on through his legacy and the many people he touched.
Andrew was a passionate LSU football fan and he never missed a game. He loved having his friends and family over to enjoy the swimming pool while he grilled the most delicious food for them, often with a Cajun flare. He loved 70’s and 80’s music and was amazing at 80’s trivia. Through camping trips with huge campfires, where he would try and scare everyone with his stories, to relaxing vacations in Florida, he always did his best to ensure that his family was together, happy, and having fun. Andrew loved all holidays and was always going over the top. Christmas trees would grow in size, year after year, and he was always trying to outdo the previous year’s Halloween party. Andrew was a patriot and carried a special place in his heart for the 4th of July. Growing up, fireworks were a huge part of their celebration and he loved to keep that tradition going with his children every year by lighting large displays. Andrew had a great sense of humor, enjoyed a good joke and was always up for a challenge. He was so loved and will be deeply missed.
Preceded in death by his mother Carole Lindsay Conques, grandparents Edward and Helen Jennings Lindsay, grandparents Antoine and Dorothy Conques.
Survived by his wife of 9 years Kelly Conques, children Makenna Conques, Drew Conques, and Trinity Duncombe. Father Anthony Conques III, Aunt Martha Fenn, Brother Anthony Conques IV and wife Kathy Conques, their daughters Lindsay, Meghan, and Anna. Brother Andre’ Conques and wife Pam Conques, their children Andre’, Eden, Cameron and Jordan.
A Celebration of Life will be held for his family only due to Covid-19.
Donations in honor of Andrew can be made to the following:
My son. I love and miss you so much.
Kelly, I can’t tell you how I feel about this. I mean I am still floored that this could even happen to someone much less such a good person and young. Everything that is written above about Andrew sounds just like CC. Everything. She dressed I. Red white, and blue, did the fire works, had the largest trees. So funny that he carried that on. You all as well as Andrew are in my prayers and thoughts.
*kelly, Thank you so much for the obituary. The picture and the write up. But most of all Thank you for. Loving Andrew. You made him so happy and he loved you so much. You
gave him a stable family that he wanted so much.
You are a Super woman, wife, mother and care giver.
The two of you have raised 3 wonderful children.
Also Thank you Sandy for stepping in as his mother. He loved you
as much as CC.
Thank you so much Martha for the kind words. Remember please that you are our family so call anytime to chat. Love you.
Fly high Andrew! Forever missed and in our hearts!
