So very sorry to learn of your loss. Alice and I were classmates in Nursing School so many years ago in Galveston. Sweet would be how I would best describe her. She was such a good and kind hearted friend to us all. We did manage to enjoy many good times together which I have laughingly recalled over the years. I also remember when she met Earl, a match truly made in heaven. God bless you and I will be praying for you. Sorry I was not at the funeral but I just heard the sad news yesterday.

Well, this note is way past the time of Alice’s death; however, I just could not pass the opportunity to write a note. I did not know that Alice was sick and am so sad to have read this as a result of the Taromina death in this weeks paper in Galveston. I have lived out of Texas for a number of years. Alice was my room mate in nursing school for the 3 years we were students. That was a very interesting time in our lives. Study, study, study!!! Alice and Earl were my God parents when I converted to Catholicism. We spent many a fun week-end on the beach riding on the back seat with the lid down of Earl’s corvet. Loved her dearly!!
