A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 15^th at 2:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home at 111 East Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX  77598.

Alexander Jan “Jack” Rackowski, 79, entered into eternal peace on Monday, July 30, 2015, at home after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Jack was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 16, 1936, to the late Alexander and Helen Rackowski. He graduated from Northbrook High School and received his Bachelor’s degree from Earlham College in Indiana.  He worked in sales and advertising for over 45 years.  Jack was a kind and gentle soul; had a loving and generous heart, and a keen sense of humor.  He was a competitive marathon runner, avid reader, and enjoyed all sports, especially football.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by: his wife Kay and daughter, Kim; his sister Helen Turner and husband Dean; nephews Joey, Andrew and Eddie Turner of Irvine, California.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Hallmark Hospice for their support in his final days.
