  3. To the Saucedo Family:

I just heard about the passing of my cousin Billy this afternoon, and I was stunned. I couldn’t believe that he was gone! I want to express my deepest condolences to the whole family and most especially to my cousins Maria Mercedes Richards, Maria Paz Gonzales, and Letty Garza. I love you very much; and I wish I could be with, but my health and the distance prevent me from traveling. I will be with you in Spirit. May Billy Rest In Peace, Amen!

  9. My condolences to all of our family members especially Billy’s sisters and dad for their painful lost. Though I hadn’t seen Billy for years since our childhood days, I was fortunate enough to see him once again just a few months ago while he was visiting with our cousin Leo Lugo. We talked about the old times and the present things going on in our lives such as family and our blessings. I really enjoyed that brief and memorable visit with him as we sang a few gospel songs and country tunes that he joyfully danced to. I don’t know what to say that would comfort y’all in this painful moment other than I know that someday we’ll all be together again forever. God bless each and everyone, sincerely cousin Johnny Garza and family.

  10. I was blessed to have him as family. After my father Armando Sr. passed away, Tio Billy drove hours across Texas to be there in time for my birth. He was able to hold me as a newborn and welcome me to the rest of my life. I will always love him for that.

I hope he is somewhere with my dad and that they’re both happy. From now on when I talk out loud to my dad, I’ll make sure to speak to the both of them.
