Robert G. Katz
On June 23, 2016, Robert G. Katz took the stairway to Heaven after a losing a brave battle to Leukemia. Loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, he was preceded in death by his parents and his son, J.D. Van Ness. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debra Katz, sons; Eric Katz, his wife Tracy, Shawn Katz, his wife Blaise, Jeremy Katz, his wife Kellie, Jessup Katz, his wife Lindsey and Robert Van Ness, daughters; Kristus Katz Yera, her husband Cris, Charlotte Milner, and Sara Tallman, her husband Kris, 21 grandchildren, and his sister Libby Lynch, brother-in-law Kevin, numerous nephews and nieces. He was a Viet Nam veteran and Purple Heart recipient. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 25,1951 and lived in Texas for over 40 years. Rest in Peace, you will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family! Robert will be greatly missed by all!

To my sister, Debra Tanner Katz, and her family I am deeply sorry for your loss. I pray that Bob is in a better place now, I know that he is now out of pain and suffering. May you all hold onto the good times and the good memories and let the rest go. Eddie Silva and I will miss him, his friendship, his hard work, his stories and just for being Bob! RIP Bob Katz!
