Marie Victoria Herron, 78, of Texas City passed away on May 12, 2016 in Texas City.  She was born June 12, 1937 in Ft. Lee, New Jersey to Geatano and Rosa Puccio.   She lived in the Galveston County area for 51 years. Marie was a retired Bookkeeper at UTMB.  She loved to do arts, crafts, paint and crochet.

Marie loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren as they were her world.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thompson Herron of 38 years.

Marie is survived by her two daughters; Laura Herron and husband Paul Cozza and Barbara Logsdon, her two sons; Phil J. Chifulio and wife Kathy and Ronald R. Chifulio and wife Sheri; two brothers Frank Puccio and Al Puccio; four grandchildren Chelby Chifulio, Rosa Oros, Eva Owens and Andy Chifulio and seven great grandchildren; Faye Oros, Cayson Chifulio, Terra Bunker, Cade Bunker, Ryan Wier and Remi Owen.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2:00PM at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque with Phil J. Chifulio officiating.
