Edward Anthony “Bubba” Joseph
Edward Anthony “Bubba” Joseph, 52, of Alvin, Texas passed from this Life on Sunday evening, April 17, 2016 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Care Center in Houston, Texas. Edward was preceded in Death by his Father, Earnest Anthony Joseph.
Born May 21, 1963 in El Paso, Texas to Earnest and Lucy Joseph. Edward is the second youngest of seven children. He had been a resident of Alvin /Santa Fe, Texas area for over 38 years.
Edward retired from the City of League City in 2010, after 25 years of Dedicated Service. He dearly loved his family, his friends, hunting, fishing, and dancing with his wife.
Survivors include his loving wife, Stacy Luna Joseph, daughter Lacy Diane Joseph and boyfriend Timothy Scott Garrison, step-son Michael Stewart Dalton, and Grandsons Connor Anthony Joseph and Timothy Joseph Garrison.
Edward leaves behind to cherish his memory his Mother, Lucy Pavlosky Joseph; sisters, Dorothy Joseph and husband Rick, and Tina Joseph; Brothers, Johnny D. Joseph, Jimmy Joseph and wife Jean, David W. Joseph and wife Gail, Timothy Joseph and wife Kori, and many Nieces and Nephews. He also leaves behind many friends that we consider Family that we hold very close and dear to our hearts.
Edward’s family will host a gathering to Celebrate his Life, to share stories, memories, and laughter as “Bubba” wished that he would be remembered as he was,……………. a Bright shining star with a huge heart.
The gathering will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 1 – 4 PM at Crowder Funeral Home 851 F.M. 517 West, Dickinson, Texas 77539

I remember all the times I called Line Repair and he answered the phone. As busy as our departments always were, he was always upbeat and helpful. He made me laugh all the time. He will be missed.

No words can really comfort you. My heart aches when I think about your loss. Although it may seem a little corny, Bubba is still right next to you. You know how I know…because his love for you will never die.
I remember the day Bubba and Arthur met – they instantly hit it off.

Who shot what where and never mind the # of points, that called for another beer. It was definitely a never ending conversation with them. Although they never had the opportunity to hunt together, it was as if they had just listening to them carry on. Bubba was truly a joy to be around. We’re so lucky to have met him in this life, he’ll be missed by all. He fought his battle with courage until the very end. God took him to His loving home and freed him from all his pain.
Please remember I’m always right here for you. Take care because that’s something even Bubba would want you to do. Those who care and share your loss are wishing you hope in the midst of sorrow and comfort in the midst of pain.
Don’t lose hope when the sun goes down, the stars come out to shine brighter even in the darkest moments. Look up and find the brightest shiniest star.
