Thomas V. Salinas, Jr. (82), of La Marque, Texas passed away on the morning of Thursday, December 10, 2015. He was born in Benavides, Texas on April 10, 1933 to Petra and Thomas Salinas, Sr. He attended Benavides High School and later moved to Galveston where he lived for many years with his wife and family. Thomas loved helping others and doing yardwork. He will be remembered for how he always gave of himself, how deeply he loved others and sharing the Lord’s word.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his loving wife; Armandina Salinas, daughter; Diamantina S. Luttrell, and son; Roland S. Salinas. Thomas is survived by his daughters; Monica Grover and husband Jim, Rosemary Nusbaum and her husband Ralph, and Mary Wilson and her husband Tim, son; Thomas S. Salinas and his wife Virginia, three sisters; Elvira Mendoza(Tony), Teresa Barrera(Jesse), and Lupita Chapa(Romeo), six brothers; Alvaro Salinas(Olivia), Frank Salinas(Sylvia), Reymundo Salinas(Lydia Anna), R.V. Salinas(Kela), Juan Salinas, and Freddy Salinas(Anabel), grandchildren; Sarah Sifuentes, Thomas D. Salinas, Elizabeth D. Salinas, Jullianna D. Salinas, Maria A. Wilson, Timothy F. Wilson, Jr., Anthony W. Wilson, Rose Marie Nusbaum, Ralph G. Nusbaum, Jr., Jimmy M. Grover, and Melanie J. Grover, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in La Marque on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a rosary starting at 7:30pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 10:00am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in La Marque (1200 Cedar, La Marque, Texas 77568).

Pallbearer will be Thomas S. Salinas, III, Thomas D. Salinas, James Grover, Jim Grover, Ralph Nusbaum and Timothy F. Wilson, Jr.
