Sulema Garcia Gonzalez
Sulema Garcia Gonzalez, 75, resident of League City, Texas passed from this life on Sunday, March 23, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born in Cotulla, Texas to proud and loving parents, Benito Garcia and Amelia Ramirez Garcia on September 7, 1949.
Sulema was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent many years making a loving home and caring for her family. Her working career out of the home was spent in the field of education as a teacher’s assistant at Silbernagel Elementary School in Dickinson.
Sulema was preceded in death by her parents; devoted husband, Esequiel Gonzalez; daughter, Lisa Marie Gonzalez; sister Gloria LaFuente; and grandson, Adrian Gonzalez, Jr.
She leaves behind to cherish her amazing life, daughter, Stephanie Mendoza & husband D. J.; sons, Brian Gonzalez and wife Ramona and Adrian Gonzalez and wife Kristine; sisters, Irene Martinez, and Maria Jimenez; brothers, Roy Garcia and Felipe Garcia; grandchildren, Aubrey Mendoza, Benjamin Mendoza, Ava Gonzalez, Austin Gonzalez, Kamren Gonzalez and Drew Gonzalez as well as numerous extended family and friends.
In her honor a celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 2:00pm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.
Sue was my teaching assistant for a couple of years. She was an incredible lady, and was a joy to work with. I was saddened to hear of her passing. I’ll always remember you, Sue! Until we meet again! ♥️
