Orpha Garcia-Labohm (68) of Texas City, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. She was born on September 14, 1956 in Houston, Texas to Rachel and Juan Cantu.

Orpha worked in the Insurance Billing at UTMB for 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Orpha is preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Labohm; son, Ruben Garcia, daughter, Krystle Garcia and son-in-law Benjamin Walker; sister, Elizabeth Duarte; brother, Juan Cantu, Jr. and four grandchildren: Aidyn, Peighton, Declan and Brecken.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 8:30am to 10:00am, at the James Crowder Funeral Home, in La Marque, Texas. A funeral service will follow at 10:00am, at James Crowder Funeral Home, with Rev. Ken Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.

The family would like everyone to wear their favorite Houston Astros gear in remembrance of her.
