Baxter Fequa Boxx

Baxter Fequa Boxx, 91, passed away on October 13, 2024 in Webster, Texas.  He was born on February 3, 1933 in Quitman, Louisiana to Maggie Kirbow Boxx and Grover Cleveland Boxx.

He is survived by his partner Mollie Barnes; daughters, Lisa Arnold and husband Mark, Kimberly Boxx; son, Keith Boxx and wife Heather; grandchildren, Michael Arnold and wife Holly, Andrew Arnold; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Arnold and Elliott Arnold; ex-wife Betty Boxx, along with numerous family members and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Kirbow Boxx and Eldon Boxx.

When his nation called, he answered by joining the U.S. Army.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and worked as an Electrical Engineer for Conoco.  He loved antique cars and loved to travel.

A memorial will be held at Crowder Funeral Home, Webster, Texas, on Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for viewing.  The service will be held right after at 6 p.m. Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 22nd at Houston National Cemetery at 10:45 a.m..
